# Minimal {#sec-profile-minimal}

This profile defines a small NixOS configuration. It does not contain any

|
graphical stuff. It's a very short file that sets the supported locales
|
|
to only support the user-selected locale, and
|
|
[disables packages' documentation](#opt-documentation.enable).
